Hot Electronics Deals to Expect on Black Friday
Black Friday occurs on the first Friday following Thanksgiving in the United States. This year, this annual shopping extravaganza falls on Friday is November 23, 2018. Many americans take advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday (an online shopping day filled with deals, which falls on the first Monday following Thanksgiving) for discounted big ticket, electronics.
Thankfully, prior to both Black Friday and Cyber Monday, big box retailers (i.e., Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target) already know the so called “hot items” that they’ll be running deals on. So without further adieu, here are the hot electronics you can expect to get your hands on this shopping season:
1. 4K TVs
2018 has been a big one for 4K TVs, but at tens of thousands of dollars for a brand new 4K OLED TVs, who can afford one? Well get ready for it, because Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart are going to start the Black Friday shopping by dropping deep 4KTV discounts. Our recommendation is to look for deals offering 4K TVs such as the TCL Roku TV with a brilliant 55-inch screen, HDR, and 4K resolution for between $500 and $700.
2. Amazon Echo
Amazon is about to get a whole lot smarter on Black Friday, by featuring deals to make your home a lot smarter as well. For instance, you may see the Amazon Echo Dot for around $30 offered with Alexa. That’s right, this smart deal is Alexa-compatible for a slightly higher price point that’s only available leading up to and on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
3. Amazon Fire Tablets & Kindles
If you’re a member of Amazon Prime, Black Friday is the time to take advantage of Amazon Prime exclusive deals. You’ll likely see Amazon’s array of e-readers and tablets (i.e., Kindle Paperwhite and Fire HD 10), available at $130 now, offered with discounts as much as 50% to 75% off. Again, sign up for your Prime membership ahead of Black Friday to take advantage of these exclusive deals.
4. Sony PS4
The Sony PS4 Black Friday deals are about to get gamers excited. Particularly when it’s offered as a console bundle (i.e., with a VR headset and popular games like Red Dead Redemption 2, by large box stores, like Walmart for heavily discounted rates.
5. Microsoft Xbox One
To compete with Sony, Microsoft of course will drop prices on the Xbox One and likely also offer them up in console bundles, again, with perks like VR headset and hot games, like Spider-Man PS4.
6. iPhone XS
It’s a Happy Thanksgiving indeed for iPhone fans. The new iPhone XS will indeed be featured by U.S. carriers (i.e., AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon) as part of the Black Friday, despite its recent launch. While the prices won’t likely be heavily discounted, American carriers will likely tempt shoppers with incentives for signing up for a new contract or trading it in your old iPhone for the newer model.
7. Apple iPad Pro and iPad 2018
If you’re in the market for an Apple iPad, Black Friday and Cyber Monday will likely usher in deals from retailers like Target and Best Buy on the iPad Pro from 2017 as well as the iPad 2018, which was released back in March of this year. Right now the 2018 is roughly $329, but you can expect at least $30 to $50 off for Black Friday.
8. Samsung Galaxy S9
Black Friday and Cyber Monday will no doubt see big deals on the Samsung Galaxy S9, which sold rather poorly following its launch in March of this year…just in time for the holidays. Gooble-gooble!
