Black Friday, where the Christmas shopping season really starts, kicks-off on November 29th this year. There are mild disputes over the term Black Friday, which according to

some was in recognition of the famous Gold crash by two gold speculators in 1869, which

rocked the stock market. Another is that Philadelphia police officers complained of the hoards of shoppers which they were supposed to control following a major football game. Still, another is that businesses were in the red, or losing money most of the year.

However, they went into the “black”, or profitability on this particular shopping day. Regardless of which you choose to believe, Black Friday is synonymous with the largest and biggest sales of the year, and 2019 is expected to be no different. Here are some ideas of what to look for in Black Friday savings, particularly in electronics:

1. Apple Watches for everybody

The Apple Watch 5, released in September of this year monitors your heart rate, serves as an electrocardiogram, tracks vital elements of your menstrual cycle, notifies you if you the ambient noise surrounding you is in danger of giving you hearing loss, will contact emergency help if you fall, and by the way, you can use it to take calls in conjunction with your iPhone. Be on the lookout for big discounts come Black Friday on the older, Model 3 watches. Last year they were discounted up to $80 or more, and predictions are that many retailers will offer the Model 3 version for as little as $149 during Black Friday this year.

2. 4K TVs at happy dance prices

According to Forbes, Costco’s Black Friday Ads have already leaked and during Black Friday of this year you can purchase a 70 inch 70-inch Vizio 4K Quantum Color LED TV at just $699.99, or a 65-inch Sony 4K UHD LED TV for the same price. Considering that

many retailers were selling 65 inch 4k TVs for up to $800 and more, lock for savings of up to $250 or more at most retailers.

3. Computers are getting stronger and cheaper

Everyone needs a computer in your family, right? Well, Black Friday is a great time to buy. Costco will be selling a 27-inch iMac with 4K Retina Display for $1399, amounting to a typical savings of $330. Expect to save between $200 and $300 this Black Friday on the most popular brand of computers.

4. New X Boxes and gaming outfits on the cheap

Expect to save close to $100 or more by buying a new XBox S series during Black Friday. And Walmart has already advertised a pre-Black Friday sale, discounting the

popular Nintendo Switch Bundle at $52 off.

5. Make your ears happy with Apple Airpods

Amazon is already offering Black Friday deals early, with as much as a $30 savings per model. So not only will your ears, but your pocketbook be happy!
